Fusion Restaurant
This brand new and smart looking contemporary styled restaurant is located in the Foy Centre, a community development centre that encompasses both budget accommodation and an array of leisure activities. On the outskirts of the village, the restaurant is within easy walking distance of Market Square and parking is available. Open for lunch during the week, dinner at the weekends the food is an exciting mix of modern Irish food with an eclectic touch, with flavours from all over the world as the name Fusion suggests. The open plan design means you can sense the exotic aromas emanating from the kitchen and literally see your meals being prepared. The casual, friendly and professional service and lively atmosphere will immediately put you at ease. The daily blackboard menu has excellent choices : delicious soup of the day with bread for €4.95, Italian anti-pasta at €8.50, or Caesar salad for €7.50. For main courses the Carlingford catch of the day seafood special is only €12.95, there are tasty pasta specials, and a steak or fillet of duck for under €20.00. The home made desserts like a banana toffee pudding are €5.50. A glass of good quality house wine is €4.50.
